Good Hang Out
This is a nice, small place to meet with friends in a casual environment. I like the back patio with lots of space to converse with good friends with out having to talk over loud music.
afternoon semi-regular here
I sometimes stop in here on my way home from work, as I work a very early shift. Sometimes it's busy, but most of the time it's only been open a short while for the business day so I can always belly on up tot he bar for a cocktail.....nice place to relax.....a neighborhood bar with a feel all to it's own
On of my favorite places to visit
Every time I visit San Diego, #1 on 5th is on the agenda. This place is fun, down to earth, and the bartenders and staff are friendly and engaging. I highly encourage everyone to visit this quaint "cheers" style pub while in San Diego.
Interesting
The front of this bar opens up to the street...the crowed is all of the same ilk 40 something and they all know each other...I couldn't strike up a conversation with anybody..it's a little creepy.. people in California don't realize there is a world outside of California....
nice place
Just left San Diego, pleasant bar, nice bartenders and however the music is slightly dated.
